Leed Engineering Department partners with Leed sales to provide oil and gas production equipment and technically sound engineering solutions to satisfy our customer needs.
This position provides engineering support for project implementation to ensure timely and accurate implementation of technically sound solutions for internal and external customers.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Create Part Numbers and Maintain Item Master Data Base
•Enter bill of materials for design packages using company’s Enterprise Resource Planning - ERP system (Made to Manage and IFS)
•Responsible for Document Control Activities for the Engineering Department including tracking and reporting of Key performance Indicators (KPI)
•Provide support to Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Field Service groups with a variety of ERP system issues
•Support company’s Engineering Change Process
•Responsible for providing recommendations for system improvements and the continued development of processes and enhancements by understanding system functionalities and manufacturing processes

•Technical School Education or comparable is required, Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
•Strong personal computer skills, including but not limited to Micorsoft Office, as well as ERP Software (Made to Manage and IFS)
•Ability to work independently, solve problems and improve processes.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as packing slips, bills of lading, sales orders, and receivers.
•Ability to work effectively with raw material vendors, subcontract labor vendors, and Leed staff.
•Ability to identify and calculate units of measure of products received.
•Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.

•Majority of the time in the office is spent sitting and working in front of a computer.
•Frequent shop and plant visits to both customer and vendor locations are required. Majority of the time is spent standing during these activities.
•Lifting requirements are generally under 10 lbs. Manual lifting could reach the company maximum of 65 lbs.
•Close vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
